
For this self promotional poster I layered my name over a simple background and placed this underneath some photoshop cutout selfies of me in the gym. The reason i chose these images was because the gym is my safe space, I thoroughly enjoy working out and look forward to it most mornings. For me personally, it cleared up my anxiety and helps me to organize my feeling in a way where I do not become overwhelmed or stressed. This was quite a long process as I could not find an easier way of cutting out my body from the background, therefore I had to do it by zooming in and erasing the background bit by bit. I feel as though this self promotional poster clearly coveys me as a person, and my main passion being the gym and working out, as well as finding new and exciting outfits to match my mood and vibe on that day. I made the background fairly simple as because I feel as though the images layered on top say a lot about me and I did not want to take the focus away from what the poster was about.
This is very close to my heart as I have had an extremely hard journey with my weight. I have always been overweight and as I got older my relationship with food was quite hard, the gym helped me to work on my self and become the best version of myself without hurting myself and restricting my food. Social media nowadays is such a big part of the gym and I feel as though it is truly what helped me to fall in love with a healthy lifestyle due to the influencers that I follow who motivate me and I can relate to. TikTok is one of the main tools I used to learn and help me further my knowledge in the gym, however social media can also be a negative platform as it can give you unrealistic expectations for your body as a lot of influencers take steroids and other supplements. Furthermore, my style since being in to the gym and fitness lifestyle has changed drastically. I practically live in leggings and gym jackets, this is because not only do they look stylish and give a ‘soccer mom vibe’ but they are extremely comfortable and wearable on a daily basis. Supplements are also an important part of my journey as they helped me support the hard work I was putting in at the gym. This included things like creatine, protein, and vitamins like cod liver oil and zinc, these things combined helped me to gain muscle whilst losing fat. My body is still not where I want it to be but I am finally healthy and in a good relationship with food and fitness.

My second self promotional poster consists of me, my boyfriend and our dogs, Milo and Kilo. This poster consists of images that were cut out and layered on top of an image of my boyfriend and I. With the two separate pictures of the dogs, I tried my best to edit the lighting to change it to more warmer tones as the images did not look the same, I could not get it completely accurate however this is something I will spend more time experimenting and playing around with so that in the future I can make two separate images look the same. I wanted to include my boyfriend in this as he is not just my partner but also my best friend. He is a core figure in my life. This image of us is sentimental as it was my first time meeting his family and his younger sisters quinceanera , in South America this is a popular tradition where families celebrate a girls 15th birthday as that is when she is considered a woman and is now growing up.
