Since I adhered carefully to my storyboard, I think my final product successfully included all five of Tufte's theories. Beginning with Tufte's colour theory, I used colours and textures to distinguish between the several planets in the introductory portion. I collected these textures using Adobe software, and I based my designs on actual materials I saw lying around, including wood and stones. About the comparison of small multiples, this is demonstrated by the planets in the first picture, which are all composed of various colours and patterns. Despite being identical in shape for the most part, they can all be easily distinguished from one another thanks to their small changes in appearance.
For layering and separation, this can be seen through the simplicity of my backgrounds, I have tried to keep the background noise to a minimum so that all of the attention can be on the message of the animation.
As we follow the solar system's planets as they revolve around the sun, signifying the passage of time, we see the planets form into the figure of a baby, symbolising the cycle of life, and this is demonstrated throughout the entire animation for narratives across space and time.
